This Privacy Policy explains how MediaDesignExpert FZE ("we", "us", or "our"), the provider of the Sparkify mobile and web applications and related services (collectively, the "Service"), collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards your information. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Who we are

The Service is operated by MediaDesignExpert FZE. For any privacy questions or requests, contact us at support@sparkify.space.

2. Information we collect

a. Account information

When you register, we collect your country code and mobile number, a password (stored only as a one-way hash), and your business profile (business name, business type/industry, address, and optional email).

b. Business data you create

Sparkify is an offline-first business tool. Data you enter — including chart of accounts, contacts (customers/suppliers), products and inventory, services, invoices, expenses, payments, and ledger/journal records — is stored on your device and, when you are online, synchronized to our servers so it is available across your devices and (where enabled) your online store.

c. Device permissions (only when you grant them)

• Contacts — if you use the "add from phone book" feature, we read the contact you select to pre-fill a customer/supplier. We do not upload your entire address book.
• Location — if you use location features, we use your device location to help set your shop address and map link.
• Camera / Photos — used to scan QR/barcodes and to attach product or invoice images you choose.

d. Technical and usage data

We collect a device identifier, app version, IP address, and a push-notification (Firebase Cloud Messaging) token to deliver sync notifications and keep your devices in sync. We may derive approximate country/region from your IP for localization.

e. Payments and tokens

The Service uses an in-app token balance. When you purchase tokens or a plan, transactions are processed by third-party payment providers and/or the app stores; we do not store full card numbers.

3. How we use your information

• To provide, maintain, sync, and secure the Service and your account.
• To operate your optional online store and process orders placed by your customers.
• To send service and sync notifications and respond to support requests.
• To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and technical issues.
• To comply with legal obligations.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only:

• Publicly, at your direction — if you enable an online store, the products and store details you choose to publish become publicly visible on the storefront.
• With service providers — hosting, cloud messaging (Google Firebase), and payment processors that help us run the Service, under confidentiality obligations.
• For legal reasons — where required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
• In a business transfer — as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice where required.

5. Data storage and security

Your data is stored locally on your device and on our servers. Passwords are hashed, and transmissions to our servers use secure connections. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

6. Data retention and deletion

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by contacting support@sparkify.space; we will delete or anonymize it within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law. Data stored locally on your device is removed when you uninstall the app or clear its data.

7. Children

The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. International users

Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than your own. By using the Service, you consent to such transfer, processing, and storage.

9. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact support@sparkify.space.

10. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party services including Google Firebase (Cloud Messaging) and our hosting and payment providers. Their handling of data is governed by their own privacy policies.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date, and, where appropriate, by additional notice. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
